When I’m editing TikTok or IG Reels, I always start with a quick hook to grab attention right away. I keep things short and snappy, using fast cuts and visuals that keep the energy high. I like to tell a mini-story—even if it's just a few seconds—with a clear beginning, middle, and end. Adding trending music and text helps make key points pop. I always wrap up with a call to action, like “Follow for more!” I keep it fun, real, and a bit imperfect because that’s what makes it feel genuine.
DRopshipping VSL / Ads
For dropshipping VSLs (Video Sales Letters) or ads, my approach is all about clarity and impact. I start by highlighting the product’s biggest benefit right away to hook viewers. I then build the story around solving a problem or showing how the product fits into everyday life. Quick cuts, before-and-after shots, and adding social proof (like testimonials or reviews) make the content relatable. I always end with a strong call to action, pushing viewers to take the next step—whether it’s visiting the website or hitting 'Buy Now.'
ONE OF MY BEST!
As a Senior Video Editor, for the project "ONE OF MY BEST", I was presented with a unique challenge. My client supplied just 4 clips of A and B-roll footage, captured from different angles, to create a video explaining the differences between franchisors and franchisees. To enhance the content's accuracy and depth, I utilized ChatGPT to gather detailed, evidence-based information relevant to the subject. This AI-assisted research helped me ensure the video was not only visually engaging but also factually precise.
In addition to leveraging ChatGPT, I utilized resources from Canva, Envato, and Pexels to source high-quality visuals and graphics. These platforms provided the necessary supplementary material to complement the limited footage, allowing me to craft a more comprehensive and visually appealing video. The final product showcases my ability to creatively blend AI technology and diverse multimedia resources to produce an informative and captivating video, even when working with limited initial material.
